Demo is Done, Baby!

Update on our Big Move:

Demolition of the original store fixtures is finished, and we’re well into renovating the space to make it perfect for Whipstitch.  There was originally an enormous office in the back of the shop, which will become our new dedicated classroom space.  We’ve also knocked down the dressing rooms that used to sit in the center of the shop to make room for fabric shelving–lots and lots and LOTS of fabric shelving.  We’re tripling our inventory to make sure that each and every time you walk in the shop we have something new and delicious and inspiring to drool over!

The shop is located in West Midtown, about 2 miles from our previous location, but SO easy to get to.  It’s also in the heart of a booming area with some really amazing stores and boutiques and restaurants, and I’m over the moon excited about the whole thing.

Off to grab some paint chips, pick out a washer/dryer, and order more inventory!  See you soon…
