Dressmaking: Carolyn Pajamas

Skill level: advanced beginner and up!  Pattern included.  Bring fabric and basic sewing supplies to first class.

Meets Tuesday mornings Sept 13, 20, 27 and Oct 4 from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Studio is located at 270 Carpenter Drive, Suite 510.

The Carolyn Pajama pattern is an updated take on a classic design: a pajama top with piped lapels and cuffs, plus a pajama pant with just the right details.  Sewing them up doesn’t just ensure that you’re perfectly dressed at your next slumber party–it also walks you through the skills of working with piping, adding a collar, sewing buttonholes, and inserting a drawstring with elastic.  Join us for this four-week session and take your garment sewing skills up a notch–with this great notched collar!

Learn more about the pattern and see yardage + supplies list on the Closet Case Files website.

We will sew both top and bottoms.  Choose long sleeve or short sleeve top, and long pants or shorts.  Provide your own fabric, thread and buttons–this design is especially dreamy in double gauze or lawn.  Pattern will be provided electronically.
