Sew Liberated Trunk Show!

I am so super, insanely excited to announce that Whipstitch will be hosting the Sew Liberated trunk show in March!  Author Meg McElwee selected our shop as the only location in the South to host the show, which will include samples from the projects featured in the book stitched by the author herself as well as piles of in-store events.  We’ll be giving away copies of the book both on the blog and in the store, and I’m thrilled to have this to look forward to over the coming weeks!

I ordered my copy via Amazon as a pre-release, and have been really impressed by the scope and depth of the projects, as well as the signature detail Meg gives to each one.  The images: drool-worthy.  The instructions: clearly written and super inspiring. If you haven’t had a chance to flip through the pages, you really ought to give yourself a treat–and then we’ll see you here for giveaways and more!

Can’t wait to share it all with y’all, March 8-22 in the shop!

  1. Oh, the clock! The CLOCK! On page 4 of the book preview….so like something that used to hang in my childhood nursery. Except without the clock part. Okay, I’ve got to get my stitch on. Can I start with a knit-wit?
