Sewing for your home can be simple, quick, rewarding, and can be a huge expression of who you are as you welcome others into your abode. (And because sometimes we don’t want to invite anyone over, it’s good to know sewing for your home t can also create a feeling of chic domesticity to keep just for you!) The Sewing For Your Home e-course is a five-week virtual classroom specifically designed to help you gain the sewing skills to make your home just what you envision, with skills that anyone can master.
This online class covers the basics of sewing for your home with classic projects that are easy to adapt to your house and your needs. You’ll review the basics of simple construction, and then create a series of finished pieces that will brighten and enliven every room and every occasion! Designed for anyone with basic sewing skills, each of these modern home dec projects can be completed with simple, clear instructions and very few supplies. It’s a perfect online class for someone who hasn’t taken a class online before, and a great way to expand your skills as you grow your sewing! With daily lessons and plenty of feedback, you can make each of these projects your very own and transform your interior.
Using lots of video, clear step-by-step photos, downloadable PDFs and audio lessons, this online class guides you through creating each of the following projects:

This isn’t just an e-course about making stuff for your house (as awesome as that is). It’s also about stretching your sewing skills–whether you’re a new stitcher or a seasoned vet, you can totally make the projects included here, and as you do, you’ll learn skills and concepts that will apply to a whole host of other sewing tasks in the future! Check out the list to the left to get an idea of the techniques we’ll be conquering in these five weeks, things I feel pretty certain you will find beautiful and modern projects to suit.
Plus! The list of printables and take-aways is pretty impressive, if I do say so myself. You’ll get a detailed project sheet for each of the projects we sew–so if you don’t need a slip cover now, but might in the future, follow along with the video and instructions, and then print the reference sheet for later! Add to that the resource lists and guides, and you’ve got your own Home Dec workbook as part of the course. Sweet!
