We’ve been working our little behinds to the bone over here, and are finally (nearly) ready for the Big Reveal! Late nights and lots of manual labor and so, so, so many exhausting decisions to make–opening a retail shop is a ton of work, and we’re all so excited that it’s all coming to fruit!
Today and tomorrow we’re icing the cake, so to speak, and we’d love to invite YOU to come down and be the first to take a peek around the new shop! There are a few details left to put in place–aren’t there always?–but I’m just so tickled and excited that I can’t bear to wait a minute longer to show it off.
Every month for a year, Whipstitch has hosted a Sip and Stitch: our modern, in-town sewing circle. It’s that time again: last Thursday of the month. Sewing Circle is a relaxed chance for you to meet other sewing folks, bring your most recent sewing project, get some ideas and feedback, and share a little community. It’s always BYOB and a ton of fun! All of the Whipstitch shop staff want to invite you to come down, bring your sewing, and be among the very first in town to see the NEW and improved Whipstitch shop. The fabric is all arranged, the lounge is ready for lounging, and every one of us is super excited to see you and show off our new digs! We won’t even be posting photos of the interior until after Sewing Circle tomorrow night, so you’ll really be the first to visit your favorite in-town fabric spot.
