Happy Giveaway Day, everyone! I’m delighted to be part (again) of the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day. And: I’m excited to be giving away copies of my TWO digital patterns, the Overmost and the (brand spankin’ new) Pinafore!
The Overmost is one of my favorite patterns to sew up for our little ones, partly because it goes together quickly, is reversible, and looks great in any fabric, and partly because no child could look anything but edible in a pair of vintage-inspired overalls. These have an elastic back waist, a bib front, cross-back straps, and can be made long or short. They’re not overALLS, they’re overMOST!
I’m also delighted to introduce a new pattern, one that I’ve loved for years and years and am finally getting around to releasing: the Pinafore. This is a simple sundress-style that can be worn by girls alone, over dresses, over skirts, with pants, with shorts, with diaper covers, you name it! It has a lined bodice, gathered skirt, and a button-back. With a sweet curved hem, there’s lots of room to twirl and it’s one of my favorite ways to show off a print that I love–plus, since it’s built with plenty of room to grow, the dress for her today becomes the tunic-with-pants of tomorrow, and you get to see your favorite fabrics on your little ones longer! This pattern won’t be available to purchase until next Monday–winners get it ahead of the rest of the known universe. Reason enough to throw your hat in the ring!
BOTH patterns are heading to TWO winners this week–woot! Simply leave a comment below–that’s it! Open to anyone, anywhere (note: these are digital patterns that you’ll print at home, so a working printer is a huge plus for the winners). Giveaway will close at 12 midnight Thursday, May 26 and winner will be announced Friday, May 27. Winners will be chosen randomly from all entries. Good luck, and happy stitching!
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. THANKS FOR PLAYING, EVERYONE!
