Am very excited. This box just arrived, and I can’t wait to dig in and make something lovely for our boy. For his new room, in our new house, a room that will be painted a lovely shade of green and have walls covered with framed vintage travel postcards. A room in a house we may never live in because our house is on the market constantly and no one else seems to want it no matter how little we’re willing to take. But this quilt! Will be so cute! In that imaginary room in that imaginary house! I can hardly stand it! Updated to add: Hmmm. I didn’t mean this to sound super negative. I’m actually really thrilled about this kit, and think the quilt will be insanely cute no matter where it goes. I was just kinda hoping it would go in a different house. Maybe I should go sew so my anxiety doesn’t spill all over you all over again. My bad.
Get your kit here.

March 16, 2011 at 11:22 pmAwww, I feel your house pain. We owned two houses for a YEAR…good times. We used to joke that we were just doing our part to help stimulate the economy. Obviously, the joke was on us!
