Once again, I’m joining the fun at the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day and offering a copy of the Pinafore pattern to one winner! This is the same design as the hand-me-down dress I posted the other day (totally coincidentally, I swear–it just worked out that way), and I can’t even count the number of these I have made over the years. Three dozen for our two youngest girls, easy, I am sure.
It’s perfect on its own, over shorts, over pants, over a tee, going to and from the pool, heading to dinner at Gramma’s, in any fabric you can think of and for any little girl (even the ones who swear they don’t like dresses). You can add ruffles, pockets, trim, applique or stencils to make every version totally unique–when our little ones wear these to school, sometimes they’ll rock out three days in a row in the same style of pinafore, but no one ever knows because they all look so different!
